One of the most meaningful collaborations of my career has been the ongoing creative relationship with Deepak Chopra. His understanding of consciousness, healing, and the relationship between sound and wellbeing has profoundly influenced my own thinking about what music can do and what it is for.
In our work together, we have explored how music can serve as a vehicle for quieting the mind — not by distracting it, but by giving it a landscape to rest within. The goal is not entertainment but transformation: a shift from the noise of mental activity to the stillness that lies beneath it.
Deepak often speaks of the field of pure awareness that exists when the mind grows quiet. Music, at its best, can serve as a doorway into that field. It is not the destination — the silence is the destination — but it can be a beautiful, compassionate guide along the way.
I am grateful for this collaboration and for the shared vision of music as medicine, music as meditation, music as an offering to the deeper self.
